//GAMES

Welcome to the games page, where I will give my thoughts on some very underground games that I'm sure nobody else has ever played or found interesting before me. I've been playing video games since before I could form coherent thoughts and as lame as this sounds, gaming was an important part of my life.

//CONSOLES

I grew up with almost every playstation console. We had a PS2 with a ton of awesome games, but something corroded the motherboard so it's a pile of scrap now. Aside from the PS2, I had a few DS systems, but those were mostly for road trips and stuff. I vaguely remember my family buying the PS3 when it first came out, and that console was my bread and butter for a while. After a few years we moved to a different house and around the same time bought the PS4, which after about a year of owning I basically claimed as my personal console.

//PC

Most of my friends I play games with slowly transitioned over the years from console to PC, so naturally I had to do the same. I built my pc in late 2020, and I quickly found out I enjoyed gaming a lot more on the pc than console. The build process was a ton of fun, and everytime I boot the thing on I feel pretty satisfied knowing that I managed to cobble it together.

Minecraft ★★★★★ Mobile | PS3 | PS4 | PC

One of the few games I have consistently come back to since I was a kid. I have some great memories with friends and family on this game throughout the years. There's not much I could say about the game that hasn't been said a million times before, but it is the best open sandbox game I've ever played.

Terraria ★★★★★ Mobile | PS3 | PC

Another of the few games I have consistently returned to since I was a kid. I never actually beat the game until I played it on my PC, but I have countless hours racked up on mobile and the PS3 edition of the game. While the sandbox isn't on par with Minecraft per say, the exploration, boss fights, and gear are absolutely elite.

Project Zomboid ★★★★★ PC

The best zomboid sandbox game I have ever played. The scenarios you can create with this game are geniunely so much fun, and its mostly possible due to the modders on the steam workshop. This game is a blast regardless of solo or with friends, and can range anywhere from a hellish experience to the average doom slayer power fantasy.
